Accessing the cluster using SSH

Note: All Mac / Linux users can use SSH to access the Psych Teaching Cluster. Windows user should use X2Go.

1. For Mac users, if you don’t have XQuartz installed, install it: https://www.xquartz.org/
   
   
2. Open a terminal window and enter the following command with your USERNAME to SSH to the cluster, Mac users may need to use “-Y” instead if “-X” doesn’t work.
   
   



3. After you log into neurocomp-teach, you can enter “psyd55xclock” command to test it:
   
   
   
   
4. Mac users should try “-Y” option (step 2) if you don’t see XClock running:
   
   
   
   
5. After accessing the cluster using SSH, you can simply close the terminal window to exit or enter “exit” command to exit.
